Questions & Answers
Hello, I'm a reader from Brazil and I imported all the Wardstone Chronicles books from there I love the series it made me start writing as well, but my question is; I couldn't find anywhere to buy the Starblade Chronicles (Only digital) There is no physical edition to this series?
Hello, I was wondering when the book series actually take place, from what I understand it takes place in something like Lancashire, and from the fact that red uniform and 18 pounder cannons are mentioned, it must be during a time when the Red Coats were about. I imagine it in the 1700s, but I am Danish, and don't remember any fighting in England at the time, but my English history may be off, or it may be a fictional war. I always just like knowing what time period things take place in, so I can imagine them better, Thank you.
Dear Mr.Delaney, I know I probably won't be able to receive an answer before its needed but I thought I'd ask anyways. I'm turning 18 in March and as a celebration my father is talking me to get a tattoo. If been thinking hard on what I could want and I was wondering if there was any symbol that goes along with your book series The Last Apprentice. Your book series has been part of my life for as long as I can remember and I thought I'd get something to always remember it by. If you can think of anything I'd be very greatful, but if not then that's ok.
Sincerly your fan Isaiah.
With the Starblade Chronicles completed and you probably not returning to the world of Tom Ward and Co. soon, is there the possiblity that maybe the John Gregory e-book "The seventh apprentice" could come out as a printed book in 2018? Can you ask your publisher? Please, please? ;-)
Will there be another spooks story?
You mentioned that there is another spook and that tom and alice will take place in his story.
Hi Mr. Delaney, I've been following your series for nearly 8 years now and it's been quite a ride. I still remember the day my mom drove me to the library in the sixth grade, which was where I stumbled upon your books. I'm a 20 year old university student now, but I still find extreme joy in following your work. Over the years I have developed a sense of attachment to the Spook's universe, and watching Tom Ward develop as a character (from doing the Spook's test in the basement to battling Gods).
How difficult was it to make the choice to kill off Jenny given the way her character was built up in the previous books and had a lot of potential?
Have Spooks in the past used different weapons instead of the traditional staff?
I know this is asked a lot, but on a scale of 10, how likely will the series continue? Tom's new abilities that were revealed seems to indicate unfinished business, and I'd really like to see more moments with him and Alice.
All the best from Canada, Edwin.
I loved the new book dark assassin and was wondering if there was going to be another book or series with Tom Ward in the future or with a new apprentice?
Hi, I REALLY LOVE YOUR BOOKS, but I want to know will their be another series after the star blade chronicles.
I just finished the Dark Assassin and I was curious about whether or not you would ever go more into detail about 7th daughters of 7th daughter's? I am aware you have no current plans with the spooks world but you never really went into a lot of detail about their powers or in general.
Spoilers for anyone reading beyond this point
What happened to the starblade? Was it as Alice stated or a different reason?
I also wanted to thank you, because these books are what got me into actually enjoying reading when I was young.
